Abstract

Introduction. As a result of any disease in the body, the formation of free radicals
increases. Biologically active compounds isolated from plants are of great importance
among medicinal substances used in medicine, which are characterized by high
physiological activity and pharmacological effects. Therefore, extensive research has
been conducted on various plants and their anti-diabetic effects have been studied.
Currently, patients with diabetes are the most important cause of death in developed
and developing countries. Among them, diseases caused by hormone deficiency in the
pancreas are the most common in the world. Currently, it is one of the fourth most
common diseases, recognized as the second leading cause of death.
