BASICS OF ENGLISH GRAMMAR

Abstract

Annotation. The article discusses new approaches to the implementation of the
main goals of teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic universities. A functional
approach to teaching English grammar in higher education creates the conditions for
the specialist to master the skills of professionally oriented foreign language
communication. Sociocultural, communicative, informational, socio psychological
competencies can be formed in the process of teaching a foreign language at a
university.
