Abstract

Abstract: Multimodal transportation of goods is considered to be among the
most efficient techniques in the field of global transport logistics, as outlined in this
piece. The fundamental concepts of transportation that employ multiple modes are
studied, along with the prerequisites for their effective implementation, while
highlighting the benefits of using such approaches for cargo transfer. The transport
policy in Uzbekistan presents challenges that limit the successful and progressive
advancement of multimodal freight transportation. Proposals have been outlined to
surmount these hurdles.
