EARLY TRANSLATION ACTIVITIES OF EUROPEAN SCIENTISTS

Abstract

When talking about the history of translation, it is worth remembering the
theories and names that have appeared in different eras. In fact, each historical epoch
brought about certain changes in the translation process, and each region had its own
characteristics in this process.Thus, the development of translation in the Western
world was different from that in the Eastern countries, and the emergence of any theory
in each country was accompanied by specific historical events.We will look at the main
historical milestones in the development of the translation process in the West and the
East.
